Healthcare

Project ShastaCares
ShastaCares is our community healthcare initiative focused on improving health, wellbeing, and dignity for underserved populations. Through accessible medical services and hygiene awareness, we bridge the gap in community health.
Medical Outreach
Providing free health check-ups, basic consultations, and medicines to underserved communities. Our medical outreach aims to detect illnesses early, promote preventive care, and improve overall community wellbeing with the support of doctors, healthcare professionals, and volunteers.
The program also includes “Care on the Move” — a mobile healthcare service (ambulance) designed to take medical services directly to remote and underserved areas, ensuring that healthcare reaches those who need it the most.
Menstrual Health & Dignity
Creating awareness about menstrual hygiene while breaking taboos and fostering dignity. We conduct workshops for adolescent girls and women in schools and underserved communities on menstrual health and distribute eco-friendly, reusable menstrual kits—ensuring that menstruation is managed with safety, confidence, and pride.
These sessions provide essential knowledge on menstrual health, hygiene practices, and busting myths. By offering reusable kits, we support sustainable period care while reducing financial strain. The program empowers girls and women to manage menstruation confidently, promoting health, dignity, and uninterrupted education.
